The clear breakdown

Community is free: get Trail Notes, upcoming-event alerts, and the public hike calendar.
The Member Pass is individual: it covers one adult, with no family or household tier. The $39 introductory rate ends when the next hike begins, then the pass returns to $79.
Eligible ABH-hosted day hikes are included: retreats, overnight trips, and special-ticket events are not included for free. Members may receive a discount when one is offered; transportation, parking, park admission, rentals, and third-party fees remain separate.
This founding Member Pass ends at 11:59 PM Eastern on August 31, 2027 and does not auto-renew.
An RSVP is always required, and membership does not guarantee a spot after a hike reaches capacity. Future terms and pricing may change after this founding term.
